I am a friend in the states of Tony Polain and Tomasin Tresize and the woods are too beautiful to be torn down. The wildlife depends on this area and it would be a tragedy to see it torn down.

Green spaces and woodland in particular need to be preserved or lost forever. Infrastructure is not good in this area. Brown sites rather than green sites should be considered and empty town centre buildings made better use of and habitable.

I used to live in this area and development of any kind in the wood would ruin a beautiful green area, vitally important to wildlife, flora and fauna. I therefore support the Friends of Speckled Wood's request for the inclusion of a fourth option of 'no development'.

This town seems obsessed with getting rid of any green spaces. There has already been a spur road to nowhere built off the top of Frederick Road but further development there is now ceased

The council should listen to the local voters as it seems an unlawful consultation without an option to say yes or no to development. I am really worried that if it is developed the ecology of the whole area will suffer as it is part of a migratory path for animals that will be broken if this habitat is lost. It is known that the badgers and foxes move to the upper valley from Deepdene Gardens. I
