Comments:
Any wooded area within our town MUST now be left in place, plant life is our main provider of our OXYGEN. With all the vehicles on the road today we desperately need these plants. More houses in this area will mean a lot more cars on the road in Ore, which is gradually destroying our normal lives.

I would like to see the whole of Ore Valley become a Country Park, properly maintained by the Council including right up to Victoria Avenue.
The frontage from Church Street to the stream owned by HBC is currently used as an unofficial tip.
Flooding has been caused by the owner filling in the steam and footpath signs have been erected where there are no footpaths.
A large area of land would be unuseable if developed due to the mountainous site.
Using an area adjacent to Victoria Avenue as a managed car park could incorporated into a future scheme.
I would like to see the whole of Ore Valley become a Country Park, properly maintained by the Council. The only way that the project could be achieved would be by the Council purchasing the remainder of the land. I presume that it still owns the frontage from Church Street to the stream, as this was cleared under stream clearance in the 1960s. currently it is an unofficial tip for locals to dispose of their unwanted rubbish ie. old cars, tyres, bedsteads, cookers, hardcore etc.
I notice you have included part of the land, which already had planning permission, fronting Victoria Avenue. In my opinion the whole of the valley should be included right up to Victoria Avenue.
Why did you allow the owner to fill in the Ore Valley stream? This now causes flooding across my property, the stream does not follow its original course.
Why have you allowed footpath signs to be erected where there are no footpaths? eg. there has never been a footpath through the bottome of the valley, many years ago it was used as allotments.
The site is so mountainous I do not believe a private contractor would be interested in developing it, due to the large area of land that would be unuseable.
Many years ago Councillor Street suggested using an area adjacent to Victoria Avenue as a managed car park, for the benefit of the people using Ore Village. I believe this would be an extremely sensible idea and could incorporated into a future scheme for the valley.

As this is the only open piece of land in Ore we feel it should be left as open space for the local community. The wildlife in this area is second to none.
Concern more houses would mean more traffic in Ore Village and on The Ridge or Old London Road causing even more hold ups.
As this is the only open piece of land in Ore we feel it should be left as open space for the local community. The wildlife in this area is second to none, we have badgers, foxes, birds, all sorts of wildlife.
As for development we think this would be unnecessary as some days Ore Village is at a stand still with traffic. To build more houses on this land would come more problems as the traffic would end up onto The Ridge or Old London Road causing even more hold ups.

I would like it put on record that I am totally against having my site or any part of it set aside for open green space, unless HBC are willing to purchase and compensate me for the subsequent loss in the lands value.
