This approach fails to recognise the significance of Bulverhythe and West St Leonards as the western gateway to the Borough. Any developments in this area - such as the presently derelict former swimming baths site - should include high-quality leisure and visitor amenities so as to maximise the usage of the seafront to support and enhance the tourist economy.
