It is ironic that this 'Enviro Enterprise Corridor' appears to rely on the provision of a controversial new road building scheme and the creation of unsustainable amounts of new traffic. Instead, this very worthwhile objective should be based on the provision of a new railway station to service theses sites, and used as an opportunity to enhance other local public transport solutions.
Further, this approach should contain a firm committment for this development to be carbon neutral and incorporate full use of renewable energies and a CHP micro-generation scheme.
