Out-of-centre retail warehouse sites have been proved beyond any doubt to adversely effect the traditional town centre, resulting in business closures and 'ghost town' town centres. These developments also generate large volumes of additional traffic movements, in direct contradiction to the presevation of our unique local environment. Therefore, this approach should be removed.
