Development Management Plan Focused Consultation 6th July - 17th Aug 2012

Representation ID: 5282

Received: 12/07/2012

Representation Summary:

I am in possession of a copy of a letter to you from Mr Peter Shaw the contents of which I concur.

The area has come under attack a number of times from speculators and on those occasions I have pointed out the dangers of creeping concrete down the valley endangering the habitat and changing the landscape.

I would urge Hastings Borough Council and its councillors not to allow the revision of development boundaries in this particular case as being unnecessary and having a detrimental impact on residents, environment, landscape and wildlife.

I wish to register my ardent objections to development within the high weald area of outstanding natural beauty at N05 - Land to the North of Winchelsea Lane.

I am in possession of a copy of a letter to you from Mr Peter Shaw the contents of which I concur.

I have lived here since 1974 enjoying the stunning views and abundance of wildlife. The area has come under attack a number of times from speculators and on those occasions I have pointed out the dangers of creeping concrete down the valley endangering the habitat and changing the landscape.

It is my understanding that there is no need to revise the development boundaries especially in the AONB. With undeveloped building sites throughout the town ie. Hurst Court and neighbouring land I cannot see the necessity for this.

I would, therefore, urge Hastings Borough Council and its councillors not to allow the revision of development boundaries in this particular case as being unnecessary and having a detrimental impact on residents, environment, landscape and wildlife.
