Representation Summary:
Ecology - The site lies within 100m of Marline Valley Woods SSSI, SNCI, RIGGS and LNR and ancient woodland, and there are extensive areas of trees and hedgerows within the site which have GI potential. Beauport Park SNCI lies to the north of the adjoining road. Beauport Park is designated for its old historic parkland and a mosaic of habitats including woodland, woodland coppice, ancient woodland remnants, old fields and an arboretum. Ecological surveys will be required and the nearby sites would need to be protected.
