Transport comments - The proposed development is quite small at 36 units. In principle a development of this scale can be accommodated on the local highway network. There is a fairly regular bus service on the A259 with bus stops and shelters within a short walk. Hastings Acadeny and other local facilities are within walking distance of this site.

The access to the site would need to be widened to allow 2 vehicles to pass and the road laid out to Manual for Streets.adoptable standards.

The junction of Winchelsea Lane with Churchill Avenue is adequate to accommodate the additional traffic.
