Representation Summary:
Likewise we feel that the town centre already has enough large scale retail space. With only a 180 degree catchment area, the town should not try to compete as a retail hub so we strongly object to the proposed vast increase in retail space. The retail offer in Hastings town centre should aim towards niche specialisms & diversity. We also think terms such as 'comparison goods' are not 'transparent or accessible' to the general public.
