Representation Summary:
We object to the Pelham Place proposals in paras 8.14 & 10.4 which conflicts with para 14.4 & paras 4.5 to 4.7 & 4.20 of PPS12 (04.06.08). As this is scheduled for development 'towards the end of the Plan period', it will blight homes & businesses in the surrounding area for 10-20 years. We also object to including any reference to Seafront Strategy (p79) which proposes a large area for comprehensive redevelopment that includes our own home in Castle Court; many other homes & viable businesses; & several quality buildings in a significant Conservation Area. There will be confusion as to the extent of the site as long as any reference to the Seafront Strategy remains.
