Representation Summary:

We agree with para 14.4 that the seafront is not right for office use as it will compete for parking with visitors/shoppers & create lack of footfall during evenings & weekends. We feel there is sufficient town centre office space allocated as shown in table 8.12 & that too much office use will lead to lack of diversity unsuited to a lively intricate town centre in an historic seaside town. Other than those office developments in para 8.12 no new large-scale schemes should be proposed for the town centre & growth should take place in the Enviro Enterprise corridor instead.
