Representation Summary:
We applaud the Council's commitment to regenerating the town centre. We consider that there is not enough scope for B1 business units in modern complexes. Regeneration within the town centre can only accommodate businesses suited to that environment (i.e. offices). Suggest that the Council look elsewhere for sites to accommodate modern industrial units close to key routes for accessibility from both outside the area and located on local transport routes for easy access for local people. We consider our client's site at Rocks Lane to be a deliverable, viable alternative option for employment use.
