Whilst it is acknowledged that the process is complex and there are further stages to run,more weight should be given to specific issues that are known to be of importance to the community.
Although under item 11.3 reference is made to "build on the 'green assets' that Central St Leonards has", which in itself is ambiguous, there is no mention in the Preferred Approach to the major asset of Warrior Square.
This sits between the Central St Leonards and the Seafront regeneration areas. Consequently, a positive programme for enhancement, rather than a brief reference under Preferred Approach 40, should be included.
