These kinds of development anger me deeply, for a start, just because we're human beings does NOT give us the right to lord over all the land. I believe that what little woodland, moorland, wetland, grassland we have left in this country should not be changed to suit us. The plants and creatures living there need it just as much as we do, and in fact have probably been there longer than we have anyway. My efforts to make my small garden as nature friendly as possible are totally pointless if developement like this takes place. It undermines everything I and many other people are trying to do.

This is a valuble and rich enviroment for all kinds of wildlife and trees. It is a valuable green space for the community where there are very few of these areas left.The infrastructure to the roadways are inadaquete and would need substantial development which the council would need to be involved. Already there is noticable subsidence in frederick rd on one side of the site which needs thorough investigation to prevent serious damage or injury.The exsiting road maintainance and repairs are a struggle to keep up with especially after the last bad winter so extra would be a huge strain on the local council econommy.As a tourist destination I feel all these new developments are detrimental to the overview of the heritage of the town which must be preserved.Please keep our simple green space for future generations.

Hello, I think that it is good that there should be a green area because it could also help kids that, in this era, are always playing computer games and never get out and the main reason for them never getting out is because there are never any spaces for them to go to because the counsel always builds on any land that they can get hold of. there is no point of building more houses because there is no work around in Hastings or anywhere so there is no demand of houses at the moment. You could have an adventure park down there and a BMX park although there would have to be something because every new and old park always gets older kids that bullies the younger kids. You could also have fun activity's for kids and adults and there could be a snack hut that would help raise funds for projects in the woods where you could get food for lunch and drinks and ice lollies and ice creams so people can spend a whole day there and maybe have guided tours round the woods. Also there could be a Saturday morning club
