Also the trees at the Southern end of the rest of it protect us from the smell and fumes from the apartment blocks on the site of St Helens Hospital.

A01 - A30 Upper Ore Valley & Rear of Old London Road - the proposals would be an overdevelopment. Some of the site should certainly be considered as green open space. Access is also clearly an issue.

Our town is the second most populated in the country. Our infrastructure is at bursting point. Hastings has doubled in size since 1976.
