Plus:

I have lived here since 1974 and over look the valley and do not want high rise blocks of flats built on it. With the constant noise of pile driving if they do build. There is knot weed there and that has to be taken away. We have a Councillor pushing for planning permission for flats. The same Councillor who wanted a new library built costing £6 million. This valley should be preserved as open space and a place for peace and quiet.

I am strongly opposed to this proposal along with site A30 and would wish them redesignated as green space. Now that volunteers have cleared much of the land & footpaths it is the only green open space in Ore village for leisure or children to play.The site lacks safe access for any development, would be difficult & expensive to construct & unlikely to be developed in the near future.
The area needs to be protected now, along with it's wildlife, to enable the Ore Community Land Trust to really plan for its future.

I strongly oppose the development of the Upper Ore Valley and want to see it stay as a green space for our community use and to allow our wildlife and habitat to be protected. We in Ore look forward to people of all ages using the wood. Green space in this area is so important for our children to grow up in as we have nowhere for them to play. I support Ore Valley Community Trust to enhance the valley for community uses.

As a child over 60 years ago i used to with my sisters play in the Ore Valley. I think that to lose it would be dreadful its like a small green lung of green.

The quality of life in this area is greatly in decline due to the amount of building going on etc. Enough is enough.

I am strongly opposed to development of the Upper Ore Valley and would very much like to see it re-designated as green space for community use and protection of the growing wildlife habitat.

I support the aims of Ore Community Land Trust to save the Upper Ore Valley from development and to consult local residents on plans for enhancing the valley for Community uses. This would include improved footpaths, a link in the Hastings Greenway from the town centre to Ore, seating and view points, children's play spaces, allotments and an area for a Village Green.

We have an opportunity and a strong obligation to ensure that future generations have access to green spaces and grow up understanding and benefitting from integration with natural wildlife and ecosystems. It is a civil responsibility to ensure, in particular in more socially and economically deprived areas that families and children have access to areas and facilities to promote healthy living and lifestyles.

A childhoods paradise well it was for me and many many of my friends in the 1940s / early 50s. And can see it still is, far better than wondering the Streets with nothing to do......land across the town has already been lost to development.

Ore Community Land Trust plans are a wonderful opportunity to provide leisure activities for all ages, something at present lacking for local people. I live about a mile away and so look forward to seeing the said plans come to fruition to benefit people and equally importantly local wildlife.

I wish to object most strongly to any attenpt to build on the green space at Ore Village. Local people are working hard to make Ore a greener place, and they have excellent plans for this site. It should be left undisturbed as a valuable amenity for the area.
