It is important to enhance connectivity as well as land management for environmental as well as social and economic gains. Sites within the network should be protected, enhanced and buffered against conflicting activities and connections are necessary for wildlife and people.
A mechanism for delivery could include a policy to ensure improvements through planning gains.
