Representation Summary:
I support informal play. There are many outstanding informal areas, which children have played for generations. Among these are the beach, sea, West Hill and West Hill rocks. All these areas should be recognised as part of the uniqueness of Hastings. Each should be enhanced and enriched. They must be accessible by bike and walking. There is too few places where the beach can be safely accessed. The sea must be clean, the beach must be spotless and should have masses of 'play' there, right on the beach- beach ball, paddling pools, a skateboard ramp and a multitude of other attractions.
