These proposals will not 'encourage a vibrant active street level frontage'. The station and its setting in the King's Road Conservation Area are deserving of much better treatment. The added retail space would detract from the adjacent shops. The block of flats would do wanton damage to the station bowl. The Alpha Café is intentionally single storey for a very good reason.
