There is no glossary and no description for the term 'community facilities'. For clarity and so that guidelines are clear and consistent we recommend a description for this term as: community facilities provide for the health and wellbeing, social, educational, spiritual, recreational, leisure and cultural needs of the community.

Even if you dont agree with our understanding of this term it is important that your interpretation is understood in the context of your policies which are intended to serve as clear statements to let communities, developers and others know the basis and criteria by which planning decisions will be made.
