Their wood is our wood. Woodland adjacent to populated areas is VITAL as the Independent Forestry Panel concluded in their recent government commissioned report. If the local authority concludes that building on this patch of woodland it will be to the detriment of the health of the local population, it will destroy any biodiversity and is, ultimately, short-sighted, reaping deficits for the local economy rather than any benefit. The only benefit will be for the private development companies, not the local population, economy or environment. Sort it out Hastings Council!
I oppose the development of the Speckled Wood Area.
