Hastings Garden Centre lies within the Filsham and Bulverhythe Planning Focus Area 3. Within this area a total of 11 potential housing sites are identified, 5 of which do not cul-sently benefit from planning permission and have not been previously allocated for housing purposes within the Borough's Local Plan.
The site extends 0.9ha and comprises previously developed land surrounded by residential development and located within the designated settlement area. As such it is eminently suitable for allocation as past of the Council's future housing land supply.
