Fine words. I do not believe that you have any idea what you actually mean by your statement. In the first place we have a maritime climate over the years we see many changes. The address should be centred round *not building housing stock on unstable land*. Already Insurance companies are concerned re flooding and checking up on and refusing to insure houses on unstable areas across the Borough. I have photographs of land slippage/slumping at "Brackendale" The Fairlight Clays are the most unstable substrata layers possibly in the whole of England. Sea level rises, and tidal effects and safe sewage disposal must be your main concerns.
