The printed format of the reply restricts the amount of comment and this has necessitated the enclosing a comprehensive attachment to the reply form,

Since attending the public meeting at the Football Ground on 8 th March, last week's publication of the new planning guidelines renders the Shaping Hastings document contents irrelevant and will necessitate serious revision before the final consultation process can even be considered. The requirement to fully utilise brown field sites for residential development before consideration can be given to existing green spaces alters completely the planning attitudes demonstrated by those who prepared the above document.
