Development Management Plan Consultation Document 3rd February - 27th April 2012

Representation ID: 3358

Received: 26/04/2012

Representation Summary:

A new vehicular access would need to be from Braybrooke Terrace towards the western end of the site to ensure adequate visibility and to keep it away from the junction of Braybrooke Terrace & Braybrooke Road. Due to the slope of the site any design would need to ensure that appropriate gradients are achieved throughout. Due to the proximity to the Town Centre the main pedestrian flow will be in this direction. Upgraded pedestrian facilities should therefore be considered to improve the link to the Town Centre. This area is within Zone 3 of the ESCC parking standards but is opposite both Zone 2 and Zone 1 areas. Bearing in mind the sites proximity to these Zones reduced car parking provision may be appropriate. Cycle parking provision would still need to be provided.
