Work for the Unemployed
Hastings has a very high rate of unemployment and this must be addressed as a priority before further housing for incomers should be considered. The problem is now and will not go away unless something is planned now. Basic Educational Standards in Literacy and numeracy are vital and when lacking it is difficult for young people to find employment.
