Representation Summary:
The Hastings Cliff SAC and the Hastings Cliff & Pett Beach SSSI (at the last review, the SSSI was generally in a favourable condition)
There appear to be no allocations in Planning Focus Areas (PFAs) 9, 10 and 13, and limited allocations in the northern part of PFA 12 and in PFA 11. The nearest allocation is some 950m from the SAC.
In view of the status of the SAC, an assessment of the likelihood of development having a significant effect on the designated site should be undertaken.
Similar consideration may be appropriate in respect of the SSSI.
