Development Management Plan Consultation Document 3rd February - 27th April 2012
Representation ID: 3130
Received: 08/05/2012
Representation Summary:
I am opposed to any revision of the development boundary that would allow such a development.
St Helen's Wood, as Ancient Woodland (ie: pre 1600) is a fragile ecosystem and development near' should be sensitive on account of that. This site should remain outside of the development boundary. I would suggest that those parts of it in public ownership be sold to St Helen's Park Society for a peppercorn sum. We share this planet with innumerable other species and a corridor needs to be preserved between St Helen's Wood and the open county.
