The inclusion of this site conflicts with the NPPF.Its likely development for employment purposes is doubtful,consideration should be made to other uses,in line with HBC's Landscape Assessment.
RDC's Core Strategy Policy HF1 supports a holistic approach to the use/management of land between Ivyhouse Lane and Rock Lane to secure environmental/access improvements in association with development in the locality.This approach is supported by HBC's Landscape Assessment and RDC'S Hastings Fringes Background Paper.This approach was jointly agreed with HBC,and supported through comments made by HBC to our Proposed Submission CS Consultation.It is disappointing this area has not been identified for greenspace enhancement.
