Representation Summary:
As stated within the Hastings Local Development Framework - Core Strategy Informal Consultation (June 2011), the Site Allocations and Development Management Plan would include details of the required targets for pitch and plot numbers for gypsies, travellers and travelling showpeople based on need. As far as can be ascertained, an assessment of need has not been carried out and no policy is included within the document which details these targets. Therefore Rother District Council objects to the omission of such a policy within the plan.
