Representation Summary:
Redesignate the recreation/playground area at the corner of Harley Shute Road and Edinburgh Road to Green space status.
This land is the only public recreational space in this area of West St Leonards Ward within close proximity of 3 schools and the recreational/playground area is a busy meeting place for children and their parents.
The land has been used by the community for leisure purposes since 1950 and measures should be put in place to protect this use for the future.
