Representation Summary:

We see from the maps showing the areas of Hastings and St Leonards considered suitable development, that the green space running behind 6-22 Beaufort Road is not included.

We are confident this means the precedent established in the 2003 enquiry has been maintained, and the Beaufort Road site continues to be protected from development, designated as being so in the current Shaping Hastings local development plan.

It is our expectation that this will continue to be the status throughout the consultation, with the Beaufort Road green space bordering on Alexandra Park remaining protected from development in the adopted plan.
