As a resident of Beaufort Road I am grateful that the precedent set in 2003 inquiry has been maintained with the Beaufort Road site being designated as protected from development in the current "Shaping Hastings," Hastings Local Plan, consultation document. Therefore it has correctly not been included in the plan.

It is our expectation that this will be the status accorded the site throughout the consultation process; with the Beaufort Road green space bordering o Alexandra Park being correctly protected from development when the plan is finally adopted in December 2013.
