Representation Summary:
The overall strategy set out in preferred Approach 7 should reflect the key aims in the vision statement eg: safety, quality of life, sustainability, heritage, seaside, culture. We feel there should be more focus on people and place - we want to see Hastings' distinctiveness celebrated and enhanced over the next 18 years. We don't want the town to lose its special character and charm by becoming just another 3rd rate retail centre.
