Representation Summary:
The Core Strategy could also usefully refer to the major government funded programmes that are intended to transform primary & secondary education provision - the Primary Capital Programme & Building Schools for the Future. They provide an opportunity to review the organisation & location of schools & require an integrated approach to encompass other provision such as children's centres & 'extended schools'. The approach to childcare is particularly supported.
