Representation Summary:
This approach is supported, but the role of the County Council as Local Education Authority should be mentioned too. The Government's 14-19 agenda now requires vocational skills training to be available via new diploma courses from the age of 14 onwards, and to the link to Work-related learning. This could well require the development of facilities at some schools, not just at further & higher educational establishments.
