Representation Summary:
The relationship between employment site protection & mixed-use policy approaches (penultimate 2 bullets) is unclear. Draft SE Plan policy SCT3 (i) allows the loss of existing employment sites if they are no longer capable of meeting business needs & SCT3 (iii) allows mixed use schemes on existing or allocated sites if employment only schemes are unviable. The latter policy would deliver some employment use on apparently unviable sites rather than losing the whole site & this principle should be incorporated into the Core Strategy.
