Representation Summary:
The recognition in paragraph 5.4 of the need to work in partnership with others to provide infrastructure & services is strongly welcomed & the County Council is keen to be involved. However, the Core Strategy would be improved by having a separate specific objective about the provision of infrastructure & services in tandem with development. This could be along the line of the SE Plan objective (vi) which refers to to 'the need for timely infrastructure provision that keeps pace with development' (as well as the need for dialogue with Government on funding & mechanisms).
