Bourne Leisure considers the statement at paragraph 18.9, in relation to tourism issues, policies within the Core Strategy should acknowledge that of necessity, there has to be a reliance on the car for many tourism journeys, due to the often rural & coastal nature of tourism facilities & the lack of alternative modes of travel. The necessity of car travel in certain tourism-related circumstances is recognised at paragraph 5.3 & 5.4 of the CLG Good Practice Guide.
