Representation Summary:
We support this approach. We draw particular attention to the 'Skills 2 Build' scheme fostered by the Hastings Trust. Through apprenticeships and guidance from the Further Education sector, this will equip local craftsmen and women to renovate older properties to a high standard with greatly reduced carbon footprint. This should be expanded and used as a model for regeneration and urban regeneration.
