Representation Summary:
It is necessary for the preferred option and subsequent policy to recognise that site specific circumstances may result in this target not being achieved on certain sites (e.g. on contaminated sites). Therefore SMPCT recommends that the preferred approach be amended to recognise that a lower provision of affordable housing may be acceptable, subject to the submission of sufficient justification.
