Representation Summary:
we would continue to recommend the inclusion of a specific policy relating to climate change adaptation as a Strategic Objective. this could once again serve to unify other policy actions/comments found within the document, such as paragraph 3.9. Objective 12 currently referes to some related issues such as sustainable building design & renewable energy, however the critical success factors could be more ambitious. As a signatory to the Nottingham Declaration on Climate change, a robust policy within the Core Strategy may compliment other Council strategies in this regard as discussed in approach 45 & the SA.
