We support a wide diversity of uses for Hastings town centre only, as facilities for your main leisure and entertainments should be concentrated here so that a balanced leisure scene will entertain & stimulate visitors, residents & local businesses with theatre audiences enlivening the surrounding area in the evening, & helping to provide regular custom for local bars & restaurants outside normal working & shopping hours.
It will be appropriate for smaller district & local centres generally to provide entertainment, leisure, cultural facilities of appropriate scale & kind to serve their roles & catchments.
