Considerable further work is required to identify appropriate approaches. These choices are inadequate and limited in vision, reflecting the general poor quality of the overall document.
This is a dreadful document not meeting either the Council's statutory responsibilities, the needs of the community and the true potential of the area. It should not be progressed in its current form. I suggest a meeting on the approach to the task of preparing an LDF, in which we can give the Council good advice on what is really required to engage the stakeholder community and offers real vision and planning strategy. In no circumstances should this current document be taken forward
