Option B conflicts with the Hastings Greenway plan to develop Church Street as a major Greenway strategic link. This location is ideal for a traffic free cycleway connecting Ore Village to the lower Ore Valley. This location contains valuable local greenspace, spectacular scenic and strategic views, and offers a potentially traffic free amenity
link. Housing here would also destroy the special visual character of the wooded skyline in Ore Village
