Add: 'We will work to increase the visitor offer by promoting Burton's St Leonards as a cultural destination, to complement the expanding cultural quarter of St Leonards.'
Apart from a passing reference at the beginning of 2.54, there is no recognition within the Planning Strategy or the Development Management Plan of the true value of the Burton heritage if well marketed to cultural tourists, who could be encouraged to extend their visit to take in the Regency New Town as well as visiting the Jerwood Gallery and the De La Warr Pavilion.
