As before, Mercatoria is not an area, but a street, at right-angles to Lavatoria. If there is a desire to re-brand the whole artisan/tradesmen's area from Mercatoria, down Norman Road West and along Gensing Road back to Alfred Street, which is logical enough, given the evident artisan status of the housing, and the fact that the whole relates naturally with Norman Road and Mercatoria rather than Kenilworth and Silchester Roads, then fine, but your current descriptions falsify the historic record. This is not nitpicking, but ensuring that future users of this document will be dealing with facts, not half-truths
