The frontage of this building is one of the gems of Hastings and any planning permission that may be granted must retain it. The building must be refurbished rather than demolished and any planning applications looking to demolish the building should be resisted. Even in its delapidated state it is one of the treasures of Hastings and needs protection. Refurbishment should be the preferred option with the building suitable to commercial use.

A new site for turning into homes would be the Observer building opposite ESK the building is an absolute disgrace!
Converted into apartments or flats would please a lot of people.
1. create new homes
2. get rid of an eyesore
3. win back the trust of the people by doing the town a good turn in creating homes without upsetting wildlife and residents of Hastings and St Leonards.
