The idea of the Localism Bill is that people are able to control their environment. The community do not want building in the wood. The open spaces CV01, CV04 & CV03 provide valuable ecosystem services for the community. In an urban area they have accessible woodland on their doorstep. It has been enjoyed for generations. The space is Ghyll woodland and Sussex BAP priority, the stream has water snails.
