Development Management Plan Revised Proposed Submission Version March 2014

Representation ID: 5735

Received: 07/04/2014

Legally compliant? No

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? No

Representation Summary:

It is unlikely that any new development of 30+ dwellings would complement the existing urban form. I cannot see how this development will enhance the architectural value of the existing buildings. The station would be dwarfed by a housing block of 30+ dwellings. Furthermore, as a resident of St Johns Road (opposite the proposed site), any building that is higher than the existing 1 storey 'Alpha Cafe' would obliterate light into the ground floor and basement of our property, as the road is very narrow. It would also have impact in terms of privacy and overlooking.
